Just you and I

 I have no manger. I have no record label. I have no agent. I have no radio promotions person. All I have is my music and you. All costs accrued are paid by me. I am Independent in it's purest truest form. Schematics is all I have, you are all I have.  Why do I continue throwing my life at being a professional musician? I do it because it's impossible, it's the greatest challenge I could possibly ask for. I think of it like life, we shouldn't stop living just because we know the end result.  It is going to break my spirit, destroy my confidence and rebuild me again and again until I become worthy and I will. I am not the soaring eagle, I'm the rat who crawls through the sewer to the other side. This world is full of those who tell us mortals shouldn’t throw stones at Olympus, I say fuck those people.  We should all be alive and awake everyday challenging the boundaries of what is feasible, whether it be providence or if we are anomalies of science we have been given the power to alter our reality and change the world even if it be only in small way. I feel in today's society the power of the individual has been diminished so much. The feeling of "just shut up go to work and make money" lingers heavily. It's so easy to feel powerless, lost in the whirlwind of routine and that we are all just worker ants. It feels set up to make you forget how powerful you really are. Of course only through unity can we change the world for the better but we must all be strong individuals inside of the group.

This blog is very therapeutic for me and I enjoy doing it but the true point of this blog and my music and all that I do is to empower others to join me and plunge into your passion. I want schematics to serve as a flint for my dream and hopefully inspire you to grab yours.  I always thought I want to sacrifice myself no matter what happens give myself to music 1000 percent and see what happens. If I'm successful then I can inspire other people to dive in as well.So those of you who believe in the project those of you who enjoy the art I make stand beside me, join me.  It is only through your support that my music and message can spread. I ask of you to not stand idly by, I ask you to take action if you enjoy my music and help it spread. Reciprocity is key when it comes to building communities of dreamers. I will give all that I have to help others in whatever endeavor they dream of, as long as it's positive in nature. When the time comes for me to release Schematics I will rely on all of you heavily for you will be my support group. I got some artwork back today that I'm very excited to show all of you soon.  The artwork is perfect proof of my point promoting others artwork though my own. This is symbiotic and exactly the kind of mentality I want to build my career around.

​ I know sometimes I may be a broken record with the whole "follow your dreams yay" mentality but I just think of how much the world could change if we were able to obtain our full potential or at least attempt to.I love hearing other peoples passions and ambitions some people think just because you have a day job or a family that you have to give up on what you love I strongly oppose that notion. Of course it will be harder and you may have to take periods of time off but you should never give up. I don't know what the future holds for me after the EP, probably more research, more struggle, more philosophizing but in my fight I find happiness somehow. On a totally unrelated note the metro in LA is a great place to just observe my fellow humans. It's been kind of nice not having a car, walking and taking the metro has made me interact with people much much more. When I'm on the metro I'm always looking at people wondering about their lives wondering what they are passionate about or what they do. Then it sort of hit me the people I'm trying to reach are right in front of my face everyday why send all these emails and try to get people on board who just want to make money off of me. It's crazy when I think about it, all the record labels, agents, managers they are all middle men. When I think about its just me making music and sharing it. You take out all the bullshit of music and it's just you and I.
